This nursery is a long, long way from my house in Kansas, but if I am anywhere within 250 miles of Atlanta, I make a special trip to Nearly Native.
The employees there KNOW their plants, and there are many unusual plants with specific needs at this nursery. They make sure you know exactly how to grow them before you buy. The prices are very reasonable, the nursery is a delight to browse, and it's an educational experience to just spend an hour there.
Highly, highly recommended.

Jim and Deb are the owners of NNN and they truly have a passion for their business. I am fortunate to live 15 minutes away and love to just walk around and browse the inventory. They have many of the things that they sell growing somewhere on their property, so I get to see it how it will really look in my yard. Never fails that I have to dig holes when I come home. They have some great native plants for that spot that you just cant figure out what to do with.

Their prices are reasonable, their plants are remarkable, and their knowledge is phenomenal.

I've been a happy customer of this mom-n-pop nursery since first learning about them in fall 2009. They have a physical location in Fayetteville GA, but they also do mail-order.

At least once a year, I drive the 55 miles one way from my house to theirs and come home with my little PT Cruiser full of trees and shrubs. They have plants I can't find anywhere else, and the conversations I have while I'm there are of equal value to the plants. I always learn something new when I visit them.

One year I had them ship me a Cupressus arizonica because I just wasn't up to that drive in the middle of winter. As you can see, it arrived in fantastic condition.
