Their order processing time was a bit slower than other seed companies, but they warn you ahead of time that it is a small business with few employees.

The seeds, on the other hand, are awesome! I ordered a bunch of tomato plants, some basil, peppers and squash. Everything germinated and the plants are doing well! I would not hesitate recommending them to fellow gardeners!

Sandhill's website sometimes frustrates me, just getting to the flower seed page, but we do order from them every year. Have to do things the old-fashioned way, send an order form and check, but it's nice to know you are dealing with real people who are hands on. We have gotten sweet potato slips for several years, but you have to order early or you may not be able to get what you want.

Huge variety of heirloom and open pollinated seeds, plus sweet potatoes, fowl, and more! They only take orders by postal mail, but their selection, purity, and ethics can't be beat. Order early, because demand for their products is high.
