All the parts of plants that can be used are shown, from fresh flower petals or leaves to the root, bark, and juice. There are sections on harvesting and drying herbs, making herbal remedies, and putting together an herbal first-aid kit. There are topics ranging from aches and pains or headaches to nervous disorders or leg and foot problems. Other topics include gynecological problems, pregnancy and childbirth, children, the elderly, and heart, blood, and circulation.
