Excellent company, from their seeds to their customer service. The seeds are organic and have always done well for me. I've been ordering from them for almost ten years and have never been disappointed. Their website is full of gardening information--they really want you to succeed in the garden!

A great source for organic seeds. If you do microgreens, then this may be one of the best sources for reasonably priced seeds in bulk. A fun, informative catalog.

Excellent company with very high quality seeds! High Mowing has an impressive, attractive catalog and offers free shipping with no or very low minimum. I am impressed with High Mowing as a company, as they were one of the founding signers of the Safe Seed Pledge. You can't go wrong with High Mowing Organic Seeds!

I ordered vegetable seeds from High Mowing Seed Company in late December (2014) for spring 2015 planting.
Shipping was very fast and I received exactly what I had ordered. Well packaged and good details on the seed packets in addition to the detailed info in the back of their catalog.
I had actually ordered the seeds on line, but I requested a catalog to be shipped with my order. It is pretty large and colorful, with lots of choices of vegetables, herbs, and flowers.
What I especially liked about this company is the fact that they supply ONLY organic seeds. Most of the seeds I ordered were $2.75 per packet (same basic sizes as most other companies --1 ounce green beans and peas, and various sizes for other items).
I think that $2.75 for certified organic seeds is very reasonable. Plus their shipping (at least for this year) was absolutely FREE, and no minimum! Although they have been in business since 1996, I had never heard of them before I did a search on line for mail-order seed companies.
Based on my experience so far with High Mowing Seeds, I feel confident the germination of their seeds will be good. I will plan to report back about that in the spring.

A good source for organic seeds, with a nice selection of basils in particular. Also an informative newsletter with useful information as well as articles on organic gardening and farming. Comes highly recommended.
