The Green Pages: Brian's Botanicals (E-Commerce Companies)

First time ordering from Brian. I sent my order in in mid March, I knew I was late ordering so I was patient. Last week I sent an email inquiry, Brian was quick to respond about my order. He pulled my invoice and said that all the plants I ordered were in stock and my order would go out in 1-2 weeks. It came yesterday and I was very pleased with the packing and the nice sized plants. Healthy root systems, leaves were not crushed. I would buy from Brian again. A very positive experience.

THE ONLY PLACE I ORDER TROPICALS FROM! Period!

His prices are good, and the plants are healthy and often larger than advertised!

He's super friendly and he's the breeder. You can't beat that! He stocks a number of other unusual plants too, most of them hardy to zone 6 or colder.

It's very much worth a trip to his place if you're anywhere near here. You will be blown away!

This spring I ordered from Brian's for the first time. I have asked them questions in the past, however, always receiving a prompt and informative response. The plants ordered -- Colocasia, Alocasia, Taccarum and Kniphofia -- all arrived well rooted in their pots. They clearly grow them on enough that only healthy plants are shipped. I particularly like Brian's own Colocasia introductions because he is breeding many that are more cold hardy, hopefully extending my growing season by at least a month.

I recently ordered 3 Colocasia potted plants from Brian. The plants arrived safely and in good shape and as scheduled. The packing was very good. Shipping information was provided along with a tracking number. Brian is pleasant to talk to and offers a lot of information on his site. I highly recommend Brian's Botanicals especially if you want to try some gigantic elephant ears.
