The Green Pages: Mail Order Natives (E-Commerce Companies)

I ordered from Mail Order Natives 2 seasons ago and will order from them again. The plants were very healthy, reasonably priced and grew well even though they are in Florida and I am in NJ. I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again.

I ordered 4 plants from MON this spring, and was impressed by their communication, their prices, their selection, and when I received my order, all plants were well packed and healthy.

The plants (2 shrubs, 2 forbs) continue to do well, and I definitely will want to order more plants from them in the not-too-distant future.

As a native Floridian and a butterfly gardener, I love ordering from Mail-Order Natives. They have a lot of hard-to-find plants, particularly host plants for my caterpillars, which I can't find locally. I also find the prices to be very reasonable. The plants always come well packed and in good shape whether they are bare root or potted. I've had great success with the plants I've ordered from them. My latest order contained two Spicebush plants, and I was so excited to find a Spicebush Swallowtail caterpillar already on one of the plants! I'm sure he had quite an adventure!

Mail-Order Natives sells many plants that are native to much of the East Coast. They also have quite a selection of Rhododendrons, if that's your thing. If you're looking for quality, native plants, I can't recommend them highly enough.
