The rusty garden art that was so popular a few years ago is making a big comeback.

My husband is always on the lookout at the local flea market for anything rusty that he can use to create something for the garden. The grandkids are really impressed with this centipede that keeps watch over the wildflower garden.

The body is a garage door spring. The head is a stained wooden ball with rusty nails for the antennas. Pieces of heavy woven wire are shaped like an upside down "U", and the ends are bent to form the feet. These pieces are inserted into the garage door spring to finish this darling little critter. These harmless "bugs" make a unique gift for all your gardening friends.
