Adding moisture to the air creates a micro-climate for houseplants that need more humidity.

Do you have some plants that require a lot of humidity? There are a few things you can do to add more humidity for happy plants.

Pick up a plastic tray and add a bit of pea gravel to the bottom. Then, add water to just below the level of the gravel. Set your plants on top of the gravel tray.

You can also add a small table-top water fountain to lend a bit more moisture to the area.

Finally, keep an attractive mist bottle handy. Spraying the plant and the area around it periodically will add the needed moisture.

Sit back and watch your happy plants thrive.
