Here's a way to keep plant material from obstructing utility meter faces

Most meters are an eyesore. I have a vigorous rose to hide the electrical box and pole. The utility company asked that I clear the material away so they could take a reading of the meter. An old nursery pot with the bottom cut out works well to keep the meter viewing area clear, without harming the plant. The pot isn't very obvious, yet keeps the viewing area clear.
