Plant Species Crocus in the Lawn.

Species crocuses usually have smaller flowers and smaller bulbs. One way to show them off in your garden is to plant them in lawn areas.

I like to plant crocuses in my lawn in a grouping by digging a trench for them.

Dig the trench. It only needs to be three to four inches deep.

Toss bulbs in.

Space out bulbs and make sure they are all facing right side up.

Cover and tramp down soil and grass. You are now finished and waiting for spring!
