Preventing Premature Orchid Bloom Drop

Have you ever bought an orchid in bloom, only to see its flowers fall off a few days later? If so, read on! :D

To stretch your orchid's blooming time, don't put your plant within 10 feet of ripening fruit. Ripening fruit releases Ethylene gas, which can cause your blooms to fade or even collapse!
Also, don't spray household air freshener, because it is also full of Ethylene gas.
