Get out your acorn wallet and get ready because it's time for another big raffle. Marilyn, the moderator of the Agastache and Salvias forum, generously spent a lot of her time contacting a slew of companies with an invitation to participate. Eight of them agreed to participate! Thank you, Marilyn, for putting this together!
There are 8 prizes here and each winner (in order) gets to take their pick of which prize they want. So, the first place winner gets to choose which of the prizes they want. Then 2nd place gets to pick from what's left, and on down the line until the 8th place winner gets the final prize remaining.
And now, without any further chit, chat or ado, here are the prizes to be awarded, in no particular order:
Gardens in the Wood of Grassy Creek is a small nursery in the mountains of North Carolina, specializing in the natural beauty of native and species perennials. Gardens in the Wood also carries other flowering perennials, a few choice herbs, and an occasional annual.
Lazy S'S is another famous company that provides a mind-boggling selection of plants. If you're looking for a hard to find plant, the chances are that Lazy S'S will have it. They are a Virginia nursery with online mail order featuring thousands of rare and unusual palnts including Perennials, Shrubs, Trees, and Tender perennials.
Almost Eden is a mail-order nursery in Louisiana offering shrubs, perennials, trees, tropicals, indoor plants, and bonsai. Their goal is to provide a good selection of quality and beautiful, unusual, or otherwise garden worthy plants at a reasonable price.
Sooner Plant Farm is an Oklahoma nursery, offering a variety of trees, shrubs, roses, perennials, and ornamental grasses, wholesale and through online consumer sales. They have been growing high quality plants and trees for wholesale nursery and garden centers since 1996. They have been offering their plants directly to home gardeners since 2004.
The ticket buying window is now open and will remain open until this Wednesday at 6:00pm Central time. The drawing will be done and posted on Thursday. Tickets cost 5 acorns each. Don't know what acorns are? Click here to learn about acorns, and how to get them. Good luck to all participants!
