Hollingsworth Peonies is providing one 'Garden Treasure' Peony. 'Garden Treasure' is a yellow Itoh hybrid peony which was bred by Don Hollingsworth (the company founder). It still is the industry standard for planters and much desired for its fragrant yellow flowers . The large golden yellow flowers are supported by sturdy stems that are clad in deep green foliage. The foliage is reminiscent of tree peonies providing an excellent background for the blooms. The bloom is staggered since each flowering shoot produces numerous side buds that extend flowering for to up to 3 weeks or more in northern climates.
