Easy Way To Apply Miracle-Gro

Here's an easy way to save time by having pre-measured Miracle-Gro ready to use.

We have two 30-gallon rain barrels attached to the rain gutter, with filter screens and lids. When they were full, I read the box of Miracle-Gro, which said to use 1 tablespoon per gallon of water, so it would be 30 tablespoons into my rain barrel. I used less so I would not overdo it. It dissolved in the barrel, and I filled my watering can or used the hose attached to the rain barrel. I did not have to do a mix each time I used my watering can. Next time it rains and fills my barrel, I will not add Miracle-Gro because I do not want to overdo it. This method I use saves time, and all of my plants get fed.
