Spunky1's Annual Daylily Naming Contest

This will start at the time of posting (the evening of Oct 11th) and end on Wednesday, Oct 18th, at midnight.

The Rules:

1) The name must not be in the AHS database. http://www.daylilies.org/Dayli...

2) The name will begin with "Lillian's," such as 'Lillian's Thin Ice'. When checking your choice in the database, do not type in "Lillian's." Type only what you add to "Lillian's." The name must be less than thirty letters long, including "Lillian's."

3)If Kathleen and I use the name you have submitted, it will be posted here and you will receive a double fan in spring 2014 on the date of your choice after emailing us at [email protected] to give us permission to use the name.

Note: If you live in Canada, you must have a U.S. address to receive any daylily from us. If you live outside the U.S, or Canada, we cannot ship to you. Also, be aware that we may not use any of the names submitted.

4) If the same name is submitted by more than one person, the one with the earliest time and day will be considered. If you add to your submission, please add it to your original post in order to keep all of your submissions together. Also note that if you add to your post, you will need to add the date/time to your edits in order to avoid duplication issues.

Look at the photo and submit the name (or names) that you think best describes the daylily. This is very important, so don't just submit a bunch of names that don't relate to what you’re looking at. This daylily is 'Zahadoom' x 'Blue Lake' with a 5" bloom on a 31" scape.
