Fresh for Spring: Unveils a New Shop

Williston, VT (March 24, 2015), a resource of the National Gardening Association and a leading provider of gardening education, unveiled an eCommerce site that kicks off the new branding for the 43 year old nonprofit organization called the Shop.

″This change celebrates the heart of our mission while aligning our brands,″ said Chief Operating Officer, Jennifer Tedeschi. ″Essentially, we want to make our resources as accessible as possible for our audience--and the Shop helps in that effort.″

Previously known as the shop, the new shop offers an improved shopping experience that includes an emphasis on ease-of-use and product discovery. The biggest changes include a mobile-friendly platform and product categories that encourage ways for customers to garden all year long. New features include ratings, reviews, smart searches, advanced sharing functions, and a simplified checkout.

″With the Shop, we've focused on making it easy to use gardening for year-round learning both in the classroom and home as its benefits touch on critical and timely topics such as health, developing life-skills, and the environment,″ said Nichole Rothaupt, Director of Commerce.

As always, 100% of the proceeds from sales support schools and communities nationwide through youth garden grants as well as free lesson plans and activities for educators and families. And all products are NGA certified, meaning that they have been carefully selected by horticultural and educational experts for quality, durability, and engagement.
