July 15th I got my first bloom on my 'America' own root rose. The other plant is just now beginning to show signs of growth.

June 3, 2021: Obtained plant (Climbing 'America' rose is my all time favorite. I love the color and it's huge blooms. This was the first 'own root rose' I've ever ordered on line. I ordered it from Heirloom Roses. They arrived looking really anemic and sickly. I planted them, and now, a week later (June 14) they are green and leafing out.) July 15, 2021: Bloomed (I got my first bloom on my 'America' own root rose! The bloom is little, but compared to the size of the bush, it is definitely the right proportion. I love the color!)
