FS-PS, moist, fertile soil, 24-30", Pinch tip from center shoot after 6 weeks to encourage bushy growth and pinch off blooms to keep from going to seed. AKA: 'Italiano Classico'
Genovese type basil, the best for cooking.

2023: I got 12 total from seed. Half were labeled 'Genovese' and half 'Italian Large Leaf'. They are the strongest looking of all my basil plants, which were imprisoned in small pots for way too long while I dug up the whole kitchen herb garden and tried to get it under control.
2022: Nice starts from Poorman Creek. I had a bunch of them and they did well.
2021: Several from seed. They did well.
2020: From seed. Got a bunch of healthy starts this year and they did well.
