Bonehead's Plant List: Annual

A note from Bonehead
I am located in north Snohomish County, Washington, Zone 8b, a temperate rain foresty region. I rarely get snow, extreme cold, or extreme heat. Global warming, however, is changing the last one and we now get summer temps that are uncomfortably hot for me (anything over 30 C). I use this feature as a mini-database of my plants - both those within my tended beds/yard and those in my wild areas. The dates for plant events (budding, flowering, etc.) are ranges, not necessarily inclusive on both ends.

2016. Mar 28 started 4 seeds inside (all germinated). Apr 10 transplanted to 4" pots, set on kitchen porch windowsill. Transplanted to herb garden mid May. This batch did not grow nearly as robust as last year's (same batch of seed). Perhaps it liked the sharp drainage of the sandbox, or it just got more attention being so front-and-center, or the site got more sun (south and west exposure) or the seeds were one year older. Who knows. Harvested mid-October.

2015. Started 4 seeds inside (all germinated), transplanted to gallon pots in compost, set in sandbox. All female. These grew exceptionally strong and tall with a large harvest mid-October. Gave one plant to Dale midsummer. Seeds from Paul.

2019 replaced with seedling from Christianson's.
