Dorothy Devenport? |
Have Trade as root Tall Bearded Iris These irises have become my favorites Enough to trade |
Received as Vanity in 2018. Bloomed in 2019 (not Vanity). Bloomed better in 2020. Definitely not Vanity in either form or color. Tom suggested this may be Dorothy Devenport. The form, color, and bloomtime are right for that. Might also be her child, American Goddess, however that one is said to bloom mid to late, so not as likely. It's the first to bloom in my garden. Bloomed more profusely in 2021. Simply beautiful. First bloom on 5/14/2022. 10/2022 gave start to dear son. KatsI2 and GreenIris (Elsa) both want some of this when I have enough. GreenIris has Sky and Sun for trade. |

Have Trade as root Tall Bearded Iris Enough to trade |
Hybridizer: Schreiner Supplier (Jung) may have given me a seedling of Dusky Challenger, rather than the real deal. This has neither the huge size, ruffles, nor very dark color of my original plant from Schreiners. Photo shown for it here is my own, not linked to the database due to uncertainty. Bloomed 2020, 2021 |
