I'd never known this Dahlia to ever be sold as anything else, other than 'Tsuki Yori No Shisha'.
Can't find exact origin for "also sold as" error, using Nori instead, though appears to possibly have occurred in publications, during the 1960's.
March 26, 2021: Obtained plant (Translates into English, as something like "Messenger of the Moon".)
April 7, 2021: Transplanted (One single tuber, already produced growth.)

Depicts one color, with typical darker 'eye'.

Old Cultivar, from seed, that usually tends to be more grey than blue & may have bracts ranging in variation from thin & narrow, to somewhat rather wide, as it's been around, for such a very long time..Not the same, as the species, or other cultivars & quite different, than 'Blue Star' which is very deep blue, before bracts fade in color.. Replacements, to be ordered, autumn 2020, from Michigan Bulb. July 8, 2019: Bloomed (Variation, of bracts color, but typically tends to be more grey, as opposed to being more blue. As noted. Bracts may vary, also, from narrow, to rather wide..as it's such an old cultivar)

Not sure exactly where, I had obtained this seed.
The earliest flowers, exhibit small decolored spots. Then as growth continues, flowers begin to change, (On the very same vine.) Natural rainfall, helps with better colors, as tends to be acidic, in Ph..
