*AERIAL DISPLAY (Stamile,P.) TET 251-N [(Moonlit Masquerade x Tetra Rainbow Spangles) X Tetra Marked By Lydia] 43" EERe. Ev. fr. emo. 9 ½" x 1 ¾" x ¾". 14" wingspan. Cascading spider. Spider ratio 4.0:1. 5-way branching. 25 buds. Strong erect scapes. I have bloomed a good many seedlings from this cross and AERIAL DISPLAY has always been my personal favorite. It is something about the very large size of this flower – 14" if stretched out, 9 ½" as it naturally stands and the gentle cascading presentation of the flowers that make it so beautiful. AERIAL DISPLAY can be described as a yellow with a maroon red eyezone but it is the clarity of color and striking contrast that make this flower one of the boldest in the garden. A great parent for chevron and patterned eye spiders. But alas, I have never gotten a pod on it. To my knowledge, it is pollen fertile only.

Not happy in my TX garden
from archive.org: trimmerdaylily.com 2016 CACTUS JACK Jack (D. Trimmer) Tetraploid (Gemini Jack x Tetra Making Double Time) 32" M. Ev. Re. 5 ½" This easily pod fertile, very consistent double, resulted from a cross of my conversion of John Kinnebrew's MAKING DOUBLE TIME onto GEMINI JACK. The base color is peach and the bold eye is dark plum with 25 buds per scape. I've hardly ever seen a single bloom on this cultivar, and siblings have been toothy and picoteed, so I expect CACTUS JACK to possess these genetics for those interested in these exciting lines. Much admired, vigorous, and an excellent grower

(Dan Trimmer, 1996). (Cameroons X Tet Peacock Maiden) Evergreen, 7 1/2" flowers, 36" scapes early midseason, rebloomer. This long petaled intense dark purple flower is an excellent melding of its two parents. Size, striking petal midline, and garden statement from T. Peacock Maiden; and saturated color, vigor and bud count from Cameroons. bud count is about 20 in my Long Island garden but up to twice that in Florida. CAMEROON NIGHT reblooms in each location. In my beginners tetraploid long petaled and spider program CAMEROON NIGHT is very important due to its fine pod fertility. The strong scapes are erect and display the large flowers well above most of the daylily garden. This excellent increaser did show some unprotected winter wear and might like some winter mulch.

COSMIC KALEIDOSCOPE
DIP – D-02-TKB - (27"-MRe-6.5-Ev) –TEXAS KALEIDOSCOPE X "super fancy face" – Wow! is the word often heard as visitors look at this gorgeous and intriguing daylily. The scapes are 27" with five-way branching and 27 buds. The 6.5" flowers are flat-faced, consistently good, and very fertile both ways. This is a wonderful parent and produces high count number of seeds per pod. This we consider to be our best of the Kaleidoscope releases to date. Don't miss this one for variety and distinction for your garden. COSMIC KALEIDOSCOPE is unique and extremely fertile both ways.

A few years ago, we had folks say this was one of the finest unusual form blooms they had seen. A very tall scape holds the blooms out front and center, making it a standout in the garden and impossible to not notice. A perfect fit for our friend Dave Huber! D3-2-53. Dip, 38" scape, 7" blooms. Diploid-"03-1-3-1" (24"-Mid-Re-6"-Ev) (TEXAS KALEIDOSCOPE X SUPER FANCY FACE)- EGYPTIAN MARKINGS is a "wowser" of a patterned diploid! Many visitors the last two years at the farm have inquired about this beauty, and it is now available, but very limited. This dip is a pale violet/brown with a spectacular faded orchid eye surrounded by a dark magenta. It has a deep green/yellow throat with a bud count of 20 on 3-way branching. It is easily pod/pollen fertile.

ELOQUENTLY EDGED
DIP - #D-20-928 – (26"-MRe-6"-EV) – (LAVENDER BLUE BABY X SDLG) X UNKNOWN – Here we have a diploid that could pass for any tetraploid with its eloquent and bold edging. It represents a milestone in diploid breeding for edges. It has been much in demand by hybridizers due to its special qualities and will be a strong candidate for conversion no doubt. ELOQUENTLY EDGED is just as its name states – ELOQUENTLY EDGED and at the same time has that definite heir of distinction we desire in a new release. Repeating scapes are strong and have 3 way branching with 26 buds. Plants are vigorous and fertile both ways.

GIANT ON THE MOUNTAIN
TET- # 02P 35T - J. Carpenter – (24"-EMRe-7"-Ev) –(TEXAS ESMERALDA X "mark alan carpenter") This cultivar will get attention from its size alone having blooms that are wide open and flat faced and seven inches in diameter. Its large size flowers can be traced back to the conversion parent of TET TEXAS WHOPPER STOPPER. The flower is a blend of colors beginning with a bronze color on the outer petals blending into yellow cream color which continues to blend into chartreuse green and a very green throat. GIANT ON THE MOUNTAIN has substance that is very heavy and blooms are supported on strong scapes with 22 buds. The plant was blooming mid May and is blooming beautifully now on July 19-th with new scapes coming. Fertile both ways.

KALEIDOSCOPE PUZZLE
DIP J. Carpenter (28"-EM Re-6"-Ev)-SUPER FANCY FACE x TEXAS KALEIDOSCOPE-What an exciting cultivar! This diploid was used most heavily this season, as we are excited about the endless possibilities this truly unique pattern offers. We see real possibilities in breeding this superb pattern onto large flowers and possibly spiders as well. The name aptly describes this beauty, as if it were made up of multiple puzzle pieces, fitted together oh so perfectly! The flower has a violet rose base with a wildly unique patterned plum/purple eye with violet stitching that sets it off from its sepals, offering a cream pattern with light purple stitching, all resonating from an emerald green throat. 18 buds on 3 way branching, this cultivar is easily fertile both ways. Thank you to Leslie Mauck for providing this wonderful name! Order this one early, we expect a complete sellout! Only shipping single fans.
