2016 +2017 Cayeux Bonus. Severe damage winter 2016/2017 on those planted in 2016, but no problems with the two rhizomes planted in 2017 in a drier location. Surprisingly warm and inviting color that can be hard to capture in photos. A favorite. The 2 potted rhizomes that spent the winter in the greenhouse, recovering from rot, tries to bloom in the autumn of 2019. |

Tall Bearded Iris (Iris 'Terre à Silex') |
Have TB Iris Favorites |
2016 Cayeux. Long lasting blooms that hold up very well to rain. Buds seem to open in slow progression, although this has to be monitored for subsequent years. It did show fairly severe leaf spot in the difficult and wet summer of 2017 and also had some foliage rotting in the same summer. Rhizomes seemed healthy with increases, but all roots are dead and most started to rot. Possibly a result from all the bleach treatment or from the excessive water? One small increase survived 2018. |
