Obtained seed from seed swap. It's an eggplant! Pumpkin on a Stick needs

Note that the fruits first turn green then scarlet. After they dry, they turn pumpkin-orange on thick branches that have large purple thorns.

It's also called Hmong Eggplant, Red China Eggplant, or Scarlet Chinese Eggplant. Terrific for fall arrangements.

The plant grows 3 to 4 feet high and 2 to 3 feet wide, has large foliage that protects the 2- to 5-inch fruits from sunscald. Cold weather helps the color change from scarlet to orange, usually within a couple weeks.
