Earl Porter x Black Panther. 3rd seedling. Germinated fall 2021. Not super black, but quite nice. Victorian looking.
Moved to new white-fence bed.
Spring 2023: 3 fans. Massive fans with thick leaves. Quite impressive foliage. Thick tall scape. FFO 10th July 2023. Tried every flower with pollen and it did not even try to set a pod with anybody. Pollen untested.
Upon later inspection 1 single pod did form with the final flower, using EITPF pollen.
2024: Massive thick foliage. Might take up too much space.

Seedlings: Current
Earl Porter x Black Panther. Similar to EPXBP212. But the veins do not go white in cold weather. However, petals do have a faint white edge which contrast very nicely in the center of the flower.
Moved to new white-fence bed.
Spring 2023: 3 fans.

Emerald Starburst x Yankee Pinstripes, seedling 2. Germinated fall 2021.
Not stripey. Plain looking. Meh. But nice color and great branching. Good to give away. Made 10 fans in its first year year! And at least 4 scapes.
Decided to plop into the hole from Black Panther in the back yard (next to variegated dogwood).
Note: First week of Spring 2023 and not appeared yet. However, a few fans did appear a few weeks later.

Emerald Starburst x Yankee Pinkstripes. 2021 seedling.
Nice eye pattern.
Moved to same square bed as C2XC1211.
Spring 2023: 8 fans.
Note: Looks a little bit like grandparent, Indian Giver.
FFO: 3rd Aug 2023. First few flowers have had no pistil.
Set pods with Money Maker.

Seedlings: Current
Emerald Starburst x Yankee Pinstripes, 4th seedling (the 5th one on the deck is yet to flower). 2021 germinated. Garden name: 'Wagyu Streak'
FFE Nov 17th 2022, indoors. Striped with big green throat exactly as hoped for. Made 2 or 3 polys and no regular blooms.
Now placed in spot where heart-leafed tree was.
Spring 2023: 2 fans. May: Moved seedling to be beside Joe Burrow so it gets lots more light. FFO: 28th July 2023.
Set a pod with Purple Leopard pollen, and vice-versa. Got seeds from both.

Gopher Stripes x Panning For Gold. Both Mike Holmes 2022 registrations, but not introductions. Germinated seeds planted 14th Nov 2022, 21st Jan 2023, 2nd Feb 2023. Pink/purple bracts that are gorgeous, and black-tipped buds.
Set initial pod with self, and with RHS.
In front of new bed, next to Sprinklefetti (and near striped ESXYP214 in next bed over).
Spring 2024: 3 fans emerged (and perhaps a small 4th where the scape was last time).

Lemon yellow, as opposed to golden yellow of sibling #1.
Seems to have more splatter than #1.
Green bracts. But young buds do have slight dark tips. Nocturnal.
In front of new bed, next to Freaking Awesome.
Spring 2024: 3 fans emerged, 1 made my first scape of the year (did not bloom first, though).

Variegated (or interesting) foliage
Hot Pink Stripes ((PPXPS212)x(C2XC1212)223) x Secured Borders.
Grew all 30 seedlings. 4 were albino, 2 were interesting. This is one of those.
Has dark center green stripe like SB (see comparison image). Also has darker green on the tips of the leaves. More white than its sibling which is more yellow (leaves).

Hypothesis: broken color blooms create higher chances of seeing variegated leaves. This is not the only example I saw this year.

In High Regard x Bob Faulkner.
First Year Seedling (2021). Strong scape.
Pod fertile. Pollen not tested.
Update: Spring 2022. Jumped out of the ground raring to go with 2 big and 2 small fans. Bigger than most cultivars at time of fan-count.
2 Y-scapes in 2022. Never seems to have a bad day.
Spring 2023: 7 fans. Proliferation also survived.
Fans got to be massive healthy specimens, with thick leaves. This really is one to register in the future. Will need a name though. Pig Tails is already a registered name. 6 thick and sturdy scapes noted in 2023 end of Jun. FFO July 5th 2023. LFO 16th Aug 2023.
Every bloom has gone UF in the 3rd year. A weird year or settling into a new phenotype? May be temp or humidity. One day of overnight lower temps (18oC) with low humidity, next morning the flowers were neat and tidy again. This seedling may be a thermometer or barometer.
Set pods with PPXPS213, and ESXYP214.

Notify Ground Crew x Bob Marley.
2021 seedling, from LA seeds (bonus seeds). Small ugly orange flower. Darker speckled eyezone (lipstick smudge, hence the nickname).
Hopefully, scapes will get tall in future years.
Update Spring 2022: Increased to 2 smallish fans. Both sibling have 1 big fan each.
Base of both fans have progressively turned red since emerging. Also happened to NGCXHT4J211 seedling (same pod parent).
Summer 2022: Finally bloomed in Aug. Much bigger flower. Also, scape is now over 4ft tall.
Spring 2023: 3 fans. Despite massive gorgeous healthy fans, no scapes. Even after constant feeding and weekly GA3.
Spring 2024: 8 fans.

Ugly flower but has a dark scape and is tetraploid, so will be useful to cross with Black Flame Dragon. Stats: Buds:25, Season: Mid/Late, Height: 40", Flower size: 5", scape: turn dark as the plant blooms. They shipped a decent size on this one.
FFO: July 27th 2023. Scape is green, however, at time of bloom in year 1.
BFD pods aborting like crazy. Despite hybridizing almost every bloom with BFD pollen (different batches), every single pod aborted. Boo.

Moved to new bed behind Sprinklefetti, etc.

Pitter Patter x Pink Stripes, seedling 2. 2021 germinated. Stripes pink flowers consistently, with white eyezone on yellow throat. However, it has short scapes. Also, the blooms are not gorgeous, even if they are striped. Will keep until I can make a better one. Then toss it.
Spring 2023: 4 fans. 1 scape finally emerged early Aug. Is taller this year and the bloom is much larger, but less noticeably striped (although if you look closely you can see it).

Pitter Patter x Pink Stripes. Fall 2021 germinated. Spots are easier to see when the flower is more pink. When it gets more yellow the spots go away. Flips from pink with spots to yellow polychrome. Environmental switch as all do so on the same days.
Moved to new white-fence bed. Patterning appears to be stronger on sepals than petals.
Spring 2023: Only seems to have 1 fan, so a fan-reduction over winter. Troubling.
Works as a pod and pollen parent when crossed back to Pitter Patter.
April 2023: No sign of emergence yet. Uh-oh. Finally popped out the ground around April 17th. Very late emergence. 3 fans eventually by the end of April.

Rose F. Kennedy x Emerald Starburst.
Pod and pollen fertile. First year seedling.
Update Spring 2022: Big single fan, bigger than most cultivars at time of fan count.
However, only made 1 scape and it needed to be staked. That was not impressive despite the pretty flowers.
Spring 2023: 2 fans. FFO: 8th July 2023
