Along Came Amanda x Gaudy Grasshopper. Fall 2020 germinated seeds. Seedling 4. Similar to seedling 1 but more open, less recurved. Makes a lot of poly blooms. Died back before the season ended. Unsure if still alive or not (I have selfed seeds in the fridge as backup). Note: a tiny fan eventually popped out. Will not allow this one to bloom this year, perhaps, to increase. Update, tiny fan dwindled away to nothing. DEAD. |

C290-1 (Carolina Scorcher x Dream State) x C137-1 (Emerald Starburst x Pink Stripes). Pale peachy, with yellow throat. Flower size and scape thickness are good. Is subtly striped! Possible garden names: "Secret Stripes" or "Peach Stripes". Moved to same square bed as pink stripey seedling. Note: First week of Spring 2023 and not appeared yet. Not even by May 10th. Declared DEAD - did not recover from late winter 2022/2023 Arctic blast. |
