Fiddle Leaf Ficus (Fig)

There always seems to be a lot of interest in and questions asked me about growing Fiddle Leaf Ficus as a houseplant. Along with questions, there is also a lot of confusion as to exactly what sort of houseplant the Fiddle Leaf actually is. (658 words - Read the full article)

The Excellent Sorghum

Sorghum is in the grass family and is closely related to corn. In fact, when it's young it is nearly impossible to differentiate it from corn. If anyone ever tells you they have volunteer corn in their garden, you can sound smart by guessing that it's sorghum. (991 words - Read the full article)

Some new reviews from the ATP Green Pages:

hostasmore recommended The Lily Garden and wrote:

I received my spring order yesterday. The bulbs are outstanding and the very generous bonus bulbs have exceeded my expectations!

hostasmore recommended Caladium Bulbs 4 Less and wrote:

I received my bulbs yesterday. I was very happy to see such size and quality. My first order but certainly not my last!

cwhitt recommended Easy to Grow Bulbs and wrote:

I have been purchasing my Amaryllis bulbs from Easy to Grow Bulbs and have been very happy. I always get a large bulb, in great condition. Every one of them has bloomed, each with at least 2 flower stalks. I like that they have different Amaryllis bulbs available at different times -- always makes me want to visit their website often so I can check out which new bulb they might be offering.

hostasmore recommended Perennial Pleasures Nursery and wrote:

A great source for many difficult-to-find varieties of tall garden phlox. I ordered several last year and was pleased with everything sent. I placed another order for this spring and have great expectations for what I will receive.

Waddi recommended Brushwood Nursery and wrote:

I made my two orders last summer, August 2015. Packing was identical to what others have shown. It was meticulous, beautiful really. I've ordered from from many sources over the years. This is the best. I waited to write the review, to see what would happen to the plants after the winter (I'm in shelter island, ny). This spring I'm pleased to share that both plants are healthy and have so far grown quickly. I plan on becoming a repeat customer.
