Our less than one year old asparagus ferns, although covered, suffered some frost. Is it safe to simply cut the entire plant back or should we just cut the frost bitten stems off? We have several, so simply cutting them back would be a time saver.

You can cut them back as you wish. They will regrow fine when warm weather returns.
