The Q&A Archives: Direction of Planting

Question: In which direction should you have your garden rows running? North and South or East and West?

Answer: It really does not matter, especially in our southern zone where we get good light from horizon to horizon almost all of the year.

Let aesthetics, convenience, and drainage determine the direction of your rows. Thanks and good luck with your garden!
