Impatiens are available in a range of heights, but the shortest are about eight inches tall. A short one to look for might be the Dazzler Series (listed at eight inches) which is available in a range of individual colors or as a mix. If you need a shorter plant for shade or part shade, you might consider the extremely colorful foliage plant Hypoestes "Splash Mix" listed at only five inches, or a shorter perennial such as Lamium "Beacon Silver" or "Red Nancy" both of which are in the six to eight inch range.
