I was wondering how well the HeatWave II tomato plants did in the hot/humid Lousiana summer weather. It gets well into the 90's on both temperature and humidity here. The sun's rays are also very hot.

'Heatwave II' is an improvement over most other tomatoes when it comes to setting fruit during hot weather.

Large-fruited types as a group tend to not set as well as small-fruited types. As a result, cherry tomato varieties, like 'Super Sweet 100' and 'Sugar Snack' tend to set better in the heat.
