Will Geum do well in Houston? The raised beds get morning sun and filtered afternoon sun. |
I don't think Geum will do well for your hot, humid climate in southeast Texas. It prefers to be in hardiness zones 5-7. It insists on well drained soil and prefers a partial shade exposure. If you decide to try it, the exposure you mentioned should be alright. Just make sure and give it a raised bed with lots of compost and keep it moist but not soggy. |
