The Q&A Archives: Cross Pollination of Hot and Sweet Peppers

Question: If I plant different varieties of hot and sweet peppers in close proximity of each other will cross pollination have any effect on this year's crop?

Answer: You can plant as many types as you'd like with no effect on this year's crop. If you are a seed saver, though, prepare for some surprises the following year! Enjoy your peppers!
