I have had a Lenten Rose for several years but it never has bloomed. How should I fertilize it? What kind of light does is need. I've tried moving it and it did not help. |
Lenten Rose likes fertile, slightly alkaline soil and partial shade. It seems to do best beneath the shade of a deciduous tree where it can benefit from the winter sun. The plant dislikes our southern heat, intense sunlight and being moved after it has put down its roots. You don't need to fertilize it a lot, but you should keep it moist, especially during dry spells in the summer and fall. Hopefully it will get its act together and bloom for you soon! |
