I purchased hosta seeds from a wholesale nursery, but there are no directions on how to germinate the seeds. What is the best way to start these seeds?

Often, they will start without any special treatment, simply sow them at normal room temperature and they should germinate. If however nothing has happened after about three weeks, cool them down to between 24 and 39 degrees for several weeks and then try again. Good luck with your new hostas!
