What is a good shrub to plant where it is wet?

Some shrubs to consider for a wet spot (but not standing water) would include shrub dogwoods, the deciduous winterberry holly (Ilex verticillata), red chokeberry (Aronia arbutifolia) and smaller, prunable willows such as pussy willow.
