I really like calla lilies and I would like to know when I should start them in my greenhouse and when to to plant them outside. I live in zone 6. Also, how do I go about digging them in the fall (before or after the first frost) and how to store them over the winter.

You can start them in March or April, but don't plant them outside until all danger of frost is past. In the fall, before frost, gently dig them up and let them dry. They also make nice container plants if digging them is a concern.
