Sweet Peas are tolerant of cool soils and air temperatures, but since yours have been growing indoors, you'll have to acclimate them before placing them permanently outdoors. Take them out during the day, placing them in a protected area. Bring them indoors at night. By the end of a week the plants should be able to spend the night outdoors and will not be adversely affected by cool spring weather when you transplant them into the garden.
