I have just planted some pansies that came from a container that held 20 individual plants. I followed the directions and planted them six inches apart. My question is whether they will grow and cover the ground between them?

Your new pansies will spread out, with a little help from you. Pinch the tops of the plants out to promote a bushy habit, and pinch out the flowering stems when the petals wilt. Each time you pinch, you'll be encouraging the plants to branch out, and in no time at all they'll fill the void between them.
