I understand that many vegetable varieties nowdays are hybrids
and are sterile. Can I get seeds from any of your plants in the fall
to re-plant next spring? ( I understand that you lose money if
people harvest thier own seeds, but I am not going to buy plants
that won't reproduce for me next year... and therefore only those
companies which sell plants that do will get my money.)

In general it is true that many hybrids do not come true from seed or set seed which is not viable. However, some do and so you might be particularly interested in the Burpee Heirloom catalog which offers many hybrids and seed strains which come true from seed. Other plants not included specifically in that catalog but which will come true from seed include many of the species, including many herbs and perennials, offered by Burpee in the regular catalog. To check availability or order an Heirloom specialty and/or regular catalog you may contact Burpee directly at 800-888-1447.
