Last year I tasted some salad greens that tasted like horseradish. It looked like lettuce. I don't know what it was or how to find seeds for it, but it was wonderful! Can you help me located this elusive vegetable?

Salad greens are no longer just leaf or iceberg lettuces, but a combination of robust, full-flavored herbs. You've probably tasted more than one of the greens contained in a Mesclun mix. You can purchase a package of blended salad greens from Shepherd's Garden Seeds, 30 Irene St., Torrington, CT 06790-6658 Try 'Piquant Salad Greens Mix', 'California Mesclun Mix', or 'Misticanza Italian Salad Mix'.
