Is there any way to control Canada thistle in my perennial garden, it comes up every where, the roots are like a spider web.

As with any difficult weed, you can try repeated pulling to eventually wear out the plant's resources, you can try smothering individual plants under a layer of newspaper or cardboard topped by thick mulch, or you can try spot treating with glyphosate according to the label instructions. Be very careful not to allow the glyphosate to touch desirable plants, however. Finally, be sure not to allow any thistles to go to seed and start yet more plants!
