I noticed nodules growing on the limbs of my young quaking aspen trees. I have three and they all have them. I wasn't sure if it was something to be concerned about or if it was a natural thing. There is no secretions from the nodules or any appearance of bugs or fungus. Is this natural? |
Quaking Aspen (Populus tremuloides) naturally develop enlarged oblong orange-colored lenticles along the branches. It's nothing to be concerned about and part of the unique characteristics of Aspens. |
