I have some old bulbs that I had left over from fall planting time and I was wondering if I put them in now would
they bloom this spring? They have been in the basement where it is cool, but not frozen.

Most bulbs have a chill requirement in order to bloom, so it may be a bit late for that. However, if the bulbs are not moldy or mushy you might plant them and see what happens. They may simply settle in, grow foliage, and bloom normally next year.
