The Q&A Archives: Growing Shamrocks

Question: I am interested in growing either shamrocks or four leaf clovers. I plan on using them for my daughter's wedding, as part of the favors. I have bought glass pots to plant them in. The pots are 3" tall, with a diameter of 3.5". I'm not sure where to start. I'm wondering where to buy seeds, and when to plant them. The wedding is on July 3rd, 99. Any ideas?

Answer: Four leaf clovers are caused by a natural mutation in the normally three-leaved plant, so there is no guarantee the plants will have four leaves. But it may be fun for the guests to search their individual pots for that rare four-leaved plant!
