I have grown only small blooming perennial carnation but I would like to know, how can I grow big blooming carnations like they sell at stores and florist shops? Do you have any carnation seeds I can purchase from you that have really big blooms?

Most of those huge carnations are varieties special to the cut flower trade and are grown in greenhouses rather than in gardens, but you might try some of the annual and specialty dianthus types for larger blooms. Perennial seed specialty houses will offer larger flowered types. For instance, Thompson and Morgan (800-274-7333) offer several with blooms over two inches in size among the Dianthus chinensis, D. heddewigii and several D. caryophyllus types.
