I am interested in starting some tomatoes in containers on my deck which gets a great deal of sun. How large of a container do I need to get per plant?

For best results with most types of tomatoes, choose a container at least 5 gallons in size and fill with a quality potting mix. Make sure the container has drain holes in the bottom and fertilizer regularly once the plants start setting fruit.
