We plant field corn for animals mainly, but I was wondering if there are any types of corn that produce more ears than others. We generally get 1 to 2 ears per stalk. I'd like to know if there are any breeds out there that produce more ears per stalk.

Unfortunately, while some varieties will have a higher percentage of doubles and some will make larger ears, that's about the best you can do.
