In the wild, Philodendron selloum grow into large shrubs up to 15 feet tall with huge, hand-shaped leaves. Indoors, the plants grow slowly so you don't need to worry about raising your ceiling! Give the plant bright light, but little or no direct sunshine. A north or east window would be best. They like a fertile soil that is kept moist but not soggy, and prefer humid environments. Other than that, like most philodendrons they are relatively carefree. |
