Depending upon the person who's responsible for ordering the seeds, the seeds offered in the stores may or may not be the best varieties for growing in that area. Some store chains have one buyer for a region, and some store chains order from a main office without considering the differences in climate from region to region. To be on the safe side, know how long your growing season is and purchase seeds that will mature within that timeframe. |
